This is my puzzle
How do I describe it?
It looks like a Walnut leaf or a Hickory tree to me.The guy that mowed said it looks like some type of Persimmon Tree or maybe a Walnut. The leaves are a med width not very broad but a little fat in the center. It is a really shiney leaf.I hope someone can help on this.

A closeup

A little away from it

Looks more like some kind of fruit bearing tree rather than nuts to me.

This is a real stab in the dark Glenda, Mr. Green
but the very first thing I thought of when I saw your pix
and then read where you said shiny foliage
was my Gardenia jasminoides "Cape Jasmine"
I snapped a few shots just now, do you think this is like your plant?
