When I went out late yesterday evening to take pictures this little guy was not out there. When DD uploaded the pictures she took this morning, there he was. I think during the night he and some friends must have been passing through and he was a wee bit tipsy and got left behind:

I would say a little bit too much gnome juice, wouldn't you. I hope he doesn't fall off of his mushroom and injure himself. I don't think my homeowners insurance covers tipsy gnomes.

I don't know if he knows where they went are not. He may be a swamp gnome, they are a boisterous lot. He can live in my blue flowerpot as long as he wants. He will just have to let me plant new flowers in it once in a while.

It's all in the cheeks. I think this may be one of the much-fabled Whiskey Gnomes. I've never seen one because I don't tend to mix in those circles. Be careful he doesn't throw up all over your hard work Sharon! Shocked

He is cute, but must have bad friends if they left him behind by himself in a strange pot.

Are the orange-cap gnomes common to your swamps, Sharon?
Louisiana swamp gnomes probably brew some exceptionally powerful gnome juice,
I heard that they got their recipe directly from a Voodoo Queen generations ago.

Say, Shocked are those hallucinogenic mushrooms he's clinging to so tightly??
Maybe that explains the silly grin. Cool

Laughing Zuzu. He does look quite a bit too attached to it doesn't he.

You have to watch this type very closely. He may be a poet gnome. They often look quite destitute and frequently a little tipsy. I would supply him with some paper and a pencil. You never know what might happen, hint, hint.

ZZP, I think swamp gnomes tend to brew some very powerful gnome brew. I have heard that the Voodoo Queen was "involved" with a gnome at one time and she did give him the recipe. I will have to do more research on this.

DR, we will see if he is a poet, we have put him pen and paper out. I anxiously await tomorrow to find out.
