Well, 2 actually. I made the first and loved it so much, I made another on the other side of the garden. When my darling and daughter went shopping, they came home with some pansies for me to plant up in the first. I love them!

I love the look of the used pots and the way that first small pot is nestled down into the large one. I have been wanting to redo mine, I need a large pot for the bottom too.

Looks great EJ. I was thinking of one today myself while at Walmart. I checked out terra cotta pots but decided they weren't in today's budget. I need to check out the shed and see what I have for pots before buying any.

I am thinking of painting mine to match the wicker chairs I am redoing. What do you guys think - good or bad idea? Would they be better left unpainted?

They look great EJ, glad you and Emma had fun planting them.
Polly, the first ones I saw, on ebay, were painted, I guess it is a matter of preference.
Sherry, here is the link to the tutorial I posted:

I love those. I also need to look in the shed to see if I have the right pots for this. Unfortunately I've moved away from terracotta and busted a lot into shards to put into other pots.
Polly, I'm definitely painting mine.

They look great - I love the character of the older pots, mine look too 'new' to be that interesting still.
