I bought two bleeding heart bushes at the dollar store about six weeks ago. This is one of them. I paid a dollar fifty cents each. Dooley

I love bleeding hearts and those are so dainty looking to have blossoms. I have pink ones like yours that I transplanted last year from my mothers old house. I hope they made it through the winter. I also have an all white one that struggles every year but produces a few blossoms - must be in a poor location.

Lovely Dooley, I tried them once but was unsuccessful, maybe I will give them another try.

They like shade. They used to grow wild in the woods where we lived when we were kids. My mom always liked them. Dooley

Mine are in the garden and are already about 6 inches tall but they have a way to go before they flower.

50 cents each? Great deal!
My bleeding hearts are only out of the ground about an inch.

It is funny - mine sound about similar to Eileens, yet one of the gardens I work in they are huge and covered in flower already! I love them, especially the white form.
