How many pets has everybody got? Are you happy with one or can't get enough of them? How do they get along with each other?
I don't own a pet myself at the moment but my parents have 2 sheepdogs, 2 cats and a multitude of farm animals that are sort of like pets (I mean my mother gives them names ). My brother has a mischievous German Shepherd.

At the moment I am petless but my daughter has 3 gerbils, a rat and a cat.
I used to have a Golden Labrador retriever until recently but sadly he's no longer with us.
I was a veterinary nurse for many years and had a household full of animals as I was forever taking on the ones that other folks wanted to get rid of.

4 rats then
Sorry to hear about your Golden Labrador retriever eileen. I hate it when a pet dies

Thanks Frank. He was my friend and companion and I miss him dreadfully.
I don't like gerbils much myself as they are desert animals and should not become pets in my opinion. Rats on the other hand are affectionate, clean, intelligent and fun loving pets, ideal for children as they rarely bite - unlike hamsters.

WOW, I'm suprised you are able to recall them all. Do you keep a list somewhere? It reminds me of a list for Noah's Ark

No list needed when you have to take care of them on a daily basis.
And regarding that Funky Turkey..........he humps my husband's leg and follows him around like a dog. He tries to flog me so he and I are constantly fighting...........I always win.

Jealousy is a terrible thing. Sounds a bit like the movie Fatal Attraction
Thanks for the laugh HotHouseHen.

Great pics dM, i'm guessing you took them because they look very professional. Correct? |
Yes and thank you.
Angel was shot on digital. Rocky's photo, however, was on film. Taken and processed and printed by me, in my extra bathroom. (photography is a bit of a hobby )

Those hens look very friendly HHH. Do they come into the house without your permission?

Give them an inch and they take a mile. Cheeky. Does anyone else have unruly pets?
