I have been watching and waiting hoping it will open before I leave for Heathers.It might do so yet.
In the background is little squash I planted yesterday.

Ooohh, I LOVE Dahlia's! My mom gave me a few years ago and I didn't realize how beautiful they were until the first bloom opened. I just took them out of winter storage and potted them up a few weeks ago. They are starting to grow nicely.
Can't wait to see yours blooming!

It's going to be lovely when it blooms Glends It shouldn't be too long now. I 've given up planting dahlias as the earwigs do dreadful damage to them.

This is my first Dahlia's I have ever
had and can't wait for it to bloom.I will post it as soon as it opens.
