These two things make wonderful planters,and probably cost less than alot of planters.
the big wash tub was 28.00,got it for 25.00 at Stevie's antiques in Leavenworth ,KS.
And the boiler we paid just 12.00,another purchase from Leavenworth's antique mall.
I will probably use geraniums and petunia's in them,cant wait to get them planted up!

Those are great, much better than conventional pots. Hubby is always on the lookout for these thing for me.

I found a few of those in my friends "junk pile". The house he bought was built in the late 1800's and was an ancestral home until he bought it. There are all kinds of junk piles in the forest behind his house that I pick through every time I go over there. I found 2 of those wash tubs, but only one was any good. I also found a smaller round one that is sitting outside waiting to be planted up.
