We bought like 13 bushes last year, planted the at the driveway, they were huge and we dug them up at the nursery where we bought them for 25.00 a piece. I told Ron i wanted to plant some more at the back pati, along the bricks,i think that will be sweet looking! It about wore us out majorly ,the last bunch. So i think mayb e a bit smaller this time....
I bought some other form of boxwood at lowes awhile back, and it smelled like cat pee..but i just love the stuff...
Ive always loved the look of boxwood in the formal english gardens, i think instead of irish,im more english....lol..

I bought a lot of very small boxwoods for our front garden Kat ( 6" tall). They grow quite quickly here. Mine have been in the ground for three years now and are about the height of the ones in your photograph. So, if you have patience, it's well worth buying small and far less expensive too. Very Happy
