We are going out to my Mom's tomorrow, she will be moving sometime this summer and we need to help her go thru some things plus she is giving me a garden bench-dark green metal frame with wood slat seat and back....and an old wood screen door - I have a garden feature in mind for it.
She hasn't seen pictures of my garden since last year, the bloom house or the fence panel that fell on me. I was going thru FRED on photobucket finding some to print for her and realized that I needed to take some updated pics of the garden too.
I wanted to share them with you all....aren't you lucky 
This is the view from standing outside the back door.
The hanging blue/green globe is a glass solar powered mosaic lantern that Lisa gave me for christmas last year. It should be fairly safe there but will be brought into the house when storms are forecast. The work table just past the Canna bed holds several of the seedlings that are being hardened off and should be ready to plant in a week or so. The white Welcome sign will have the FRED sign I made hanging from it as soon as I get it properly sealed.
This is a sort of overview of how things are greening and growing in the middle of the main bed. The Snaps are really getting big

The thing that amazes me about FRED Toni is that there are so many things to attract the eye, I never know what to focus on A tipsy pot here, a windmill there, so much choice.

Great growing. My husband would love the snapdragons. They are one of his favorites. I'd like to see a closeup of the roses when you get time. Have a good time with your Mom and I am curious what you have in mind fo rthe screen door. I hav one here that I have to paint and then I also have an idea if I can get someone to help with it.

Glad you all enjoyed the pictures.
Frank sometimes I wonder if I have too many things to look at our there, but then I continue finding fun stuff to include....so I guess, no I don't have too many.
Polly,when I have the final details for the door figured out I will try to describe my idea. I have it in my mind but hard to put into words.
Thanks Sharon, I am always rearranging some of the things until they seem to just fit the spot.
Zuzu, during the winter every time we went to thrift stores I collected wire baskets of all sorts and that bamboo'birdcage' to use for covers. They keep squirrels from digging too close and keep me from stepping on the perennials until they are big enough to fend for themselves. They have been lifesavers for some of the plants.

I really love your rose hedge Toni!! How I wish I'd thought of making a hedge like that in the front garden before I planted it out with box.
