Hi-

I am a new member of Garden Stew. I came across this web site when I was looking for help with two hydrangea bushes I have. They were planted four or five years ago, and I had beautiful blue and pink flowers the first year. Since that year, I have never had another flower, just two large bushes with great big leaves! I tried pruning, not pruning, etc. I'm just not sure what to do next. I would love to get the beautiful flowers back I had the first year. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Welcome Nancy, there is another topic here which I'm not sure whether you have read or not:
http://www.gardenstew.com/about368.html

Had you changed anything about your hydrangea care practices or the immediate environment (soil etc...) in the year following the first successful blooming period? Could a cold snap in spring be the culprit?
