I had a great weekend out in the yard. The weather was (finally!) just beautiful and I managed to get all my gardens except 2 cleaned out, weeded, and edged. I even found the first bloom.
Pulmonaria
Vinca
Got my new birdbath set up
And look who appeared today! I'm wondering what happened to his shovel? I think he thinks I didn't notice that he and his pals all appeared tool less this spring. And is that a smirk?

Netty it sounds like we had similar weather this weekend and both enjoyed it. Most of my beds are now cleaned out too plus I got some other outside work done. Talk of rain here tomorrow but I have to work tomorrow anyway so let it rain.

Yes Polly, they call for rain here tomorrow too. I have plenty of inside jobs to do at work tomorrow so I don't mind.

At last you've been able to get out and play in the dirt - doesn't it feel wonderful?!!!
I love you birdbath Netty and those two chairs look very inviting. Pity we stay so far away from each other because you could have made me a cuppa and we could have sat chatting in the sunshine.

Aww spring has arrived for Netty. Lovely birdbath, what do you have planted in the bed around it?

Eileen-those chairs were built for me by a friend of mine last summer. They are very comfy! I enjoyed some nice cold vodka coolers in them after all my hard work!
Toni-that garden was supposed to be my rose garden for the last 2 years. But roses weren't in the budget so I planted the garden up with spare perennials and some annuals for the last 2 years. This WILL be the year that some roses get planted in there!

Beautiful bloomers at your place, Netty.
That birdbath looks just great there,
a perfect viewing point, with a vodka cooler in hand.
Keep a close eye on that gnome,
I think that I caught him doing the "Peewee Herman dance" when I first scrolled down!!
