As many of you know, we have an all white cat. Well over the winter he has been mainly inside and has been pretty good at keeping himself clean and white. Wel he has been going out side more and more as the weather has gotten nicer. Yesterday it got up to 80 and he spent the whole day outside. Most of it was spent on the front deck soaking up the rays from the sun, his favorite past time. Late afternoon he came around to the back of the house where we were setting in the swing. He walked out to the edge of the gravel drive and just stood there looking at the driveway. My wife asked me , What do you suppose he is doing? I replied that he was looking for a place to take a dirt bath!. I was just joking. He walked out a few feet and I'll be d**ned if he did flop down in the dirt and start to roll around. We hollered at him and he jumped up and ran up to the back stoop and layed down. After a while we went into the house after a good laugh. The next thing I new, my wife hollered at me to come look at the stupid cat. I looked out the window and there he was with all four feet in the air just rolling around to his heart's content. My son went out and brushed him, but he is now more of an ecru than white!

You're not alone! Yesterday I was getting amaryllis bulbs ready to send to Glenda and spilled some potting soil on the rug. Missy Mama, my office cat, proceeded to roll and roll and roll!! She is gray and white so it didn't alter her color but now when she jumps on my desk little bits of bark and perrlite fall off of her!

No, it's warm weather thing! He is such a wus, he won't go outside if it's below freezing.

That sounds like ours too Capt. Two of ours were strays that my husband rescued. And they have become quite the house cats since and don't like the cold.
