|
I talked this morning about painting some brown outdoor chairs Ron had in his barn. I went to walmart, got the pink paint i wanted and some more white to finish wicker. Imagine the material made into pillows for the chairs, or cushions.VERY SHABBY!
While the chairs are drying,i better find something else to do!

Those look great. I love the pink and white shabby/chic look but am way too lazy to have white stuff. You certainly seem to have a lot of energy.

Beth, The thing about it all ,is like my chair cushions , i carry them in at the slightest hint of rain (tiring). No kids around to make them dirty, just cats, and they prefer the twig chairs , thank god!

Oh Kat I love it! I think you're a woman after my own heart!! I love pink anyway (with a name like Pinkard what do you expect) My father-in-law has 2 lawn chairs like yours sitting on his old porch, neglected and covered in about 15 coats of flat brown paint After seeing yours I might have to bake him some brownies and try to butter him up. After all, I am the only daughter-in-law I love your chairs. You did an awesome job. I like all the stuff you post, you have great taste!

Very pretty fabric Kat and I like the chairs painted pink. I just have one question - How in the world did you convince Ron that his chairs should now be pink? I don't think my husband would go for that.

Bethie, I'm blessed with an easy going husband too
Sure makes life a lot easier when you're not arguing all the time! However, all I have to say is "I've been thinking..." and he rolls his eyes. He knows I've had another gardening idea!

Strat, your something else. I can imagine the eyes rolling,i see that to here. But the eye rolling usually turns into. " hey that came out pretty nice " from him later.

Strat-if my hubby could see into my brain he would run screaming into the night! There will NEVER be a recliner, big screen tv or a nap in his life with me in it.

My husband is ready to run as soon as I say "I was thinking..." ' ' But he helps me with a lot of stuff in the yard and always seems to like the results.
