Hi,
As suggested by Toni, and not a bad suggestion indeed, let me introduce myself on this welcoming topic.
I'm Peter (born 74), from Belgium, trying to keep control over my hobby, (vegetable) gardening. In fact it feels like I am losing control a little bit more every season and sliding of to going crazy on tomatoes and peppers (mainly hot peppers but going towards the sweets as well) as my collection expands and by networking with you guys, other amateur gardeners some day this collection might even explode. But all for the fun of watching nature grow into something beautiful, on its own strength but even beter with some tender love and care.
I hope to make new friends here, gain knowledge (tricks of the trade), swap some seeds, become a better gardener...
I am working on 9 patches of 6x4m, one of them is a greenhouse, all 9 rotating in a scheme ... have a dozen or so medium height fruit trees in the backyard, and some small fruits (berries, grapes,..) all around.
I try to do it all organicly - try to figure out what some do on the biodynamic and moon-gardening way of gardening without knowing it in great detail.
I think that is already a fair description of who I am.

Hi Peter, welcome to the Stew from north Texas.
I have a couple of books on moon gardening, maybe I can look up info for you. I try to be patient and garden by the moon, but I tend to get in a hurry and forget to make the proper plans.
Glad to have you with us. Oh, and we love to see pictures of gardens from other parts of the world too.

Greetings from West Tennessee. A lot of the older folks here garden by "moon signs." I just garden.

Hello, Peter;
Welcome to the Stew from Hank in mid-Florida. Yes, indeed, you'll like this community of garden nuts.

Welcome to the Stew, Peter.
Your obsession with hot peppers is shared by a friend of mine.
I'm lucky that he lives nearby, he keeps me supplied with some of the hottest
and tastiest pepper sauce imaginable. YUM!
