Just wondering if it is too late in the season to buy/plant Pansies. This is prob. an amateur question but the people at the nursery claim that we've missed the window for purchasing them. Would love to get your alls opinion. THANKS!

Pansies are a fall and winter flower, especially in the part of the country where I live. They dissappear from garden centers in late March here.

They will be back in October or November when the weather is beginning to cool down and will be available all winter.

Yes, you have missed the pansy boat this year. I plant in fall here in zone 7. Right now pansies are at their peak of bloom and will be yanked out by June 1st.
