I didn't get pictures of the 1st Lily or Morning Glory since they opened yesterday and were gone by the time I got a chance to go outside yesterday afternoon. So I got the second.
I have Stella d'Oro and Grape Magic daylilies. The Stella's have bloomed twice with lots more buds waiting in the wings. The Grape Magic didn't bloom at all last year. I moved them to a sunnier spot last fall so they should both do much better.
The Morning Glory seeds I planted were Grampa Ott, supposed to be purple....the first bloom was pink and this one is more blue to me than purple. Whatever, I love this color. I never realized that they would bloom on seedlings less than 6 inches tall. The pink one is already in the ground to grow up a trellis and the pole that holds the rain gauge. This one is still in the pot in the bloom house. But will be in the ground next week. I have a third one about to bloom and it is smaller than the other two..

Yes this is new to me also Toni. It actually looks quite strange in the photo.

Toni, have patience with Grape Magic, it is a slow starter, but given time will bloom good. Mine is on it's third year and is doing good now. I also have Little Business which is the same way. It has finally decided to show off this year. Love the Stella and MG.

That lily is so bright. I've never seen a morning glory bloom so small either. Guess it's in a hurry to beautify the landscape, and it's working.
