OMG, lol i was cleaning out my closet and I found a small variety of some zinias, and i had glued some different seeds to the strips of newspapers for later planting!! Im so excited cause I had no clue i had seeds!!! I am really excited cause I have some 'globe anthums!" the hot pink kind! and a few cardinal vine seeds!! woohooooo yay me!
Now, i have another question, i think i have its either a butterfly bush, or a verbinia?? purple... long stems with flowers up and down them... How do i collect those seeds? Can i just lay the spent stems in the ground to let them reseed automatically? or do i dry them or what? Ok, I thin ive asked to many questions for one time! Lol
Cant wait to hear some answers!!

Just spread out ole news paper and run your hands down the trunks to take off the seeds......
Plant like always.
Just a little dirt fourth of inch and water.
