This afternoon Mimi & I went to Jo Ann's house to baby sit our grandson Alex. After watching the second Spiderman movie, he wanted to go the the park and play on the swings and slides. So we took a slow walk, the 4 blocks to the park. I had grabbed the camera to hopefully get a cute shot of him playing. As we walked along My thoughts turned to “The Gardenstew” and the photos of all the flowers that I had seen shown there. I thought I'd try to snap some of the prettier flowers. It's still pretty early, and their house is very near to Lake Michigan and things have not progressed well yet. So instead I took the following pictures of what I found in the neat and trim lawns. My photo essay on weeds.

Tom

And lest I forget the main reason for this walk

My lawn too, I think that one guy was about to challange me as I took the picture. In fairness to any individual, each picture came from a differant yard.
