This is our birdbath in front garden, and later a fat dove using it, taken from inside the house..

Nice to see the birds actually using the bird bath isn't it SusieQ! I put one out a few weeks ago and the birds have finally found it.

I don't believe I have ever seen a bird in my birdbath. Sad isn't it.

I kept thinking that my new birdbath was leaking, but then I watched a couple of birds splashing around and soon discovered where all the water was going! Does anyone know if Hummingbirds use birdbaths?

Thanks glendann, the one in back has 2 adorable babies you can't see...that's a big frog in the middle of birdbath and the birds peck at him, and keep me touching him up with paint.they sit on it's head and peck the eyes? (it's concrete) crazy birds...

I don't know if hummingbirds use birdbaths but it you are spraying with a hose they will fly through the spray. They will also fly through a mister. I used to have one who would come everytime I was watering but now I have soaker hoses in the garden and use a hand sprayer for the pots so I haven't given any a shower lately. Dooley

Great pics. Love to have doves around making their melancholy calls.
Netty, I doubt hummers use birdbaths as they are too deep. They like misters. When I was watering in my garden last summer a hummer came and "bathed" on a wet leaf. Cool

Nice looking birdbath SusieQ. I think my husband has ours cleaned and filled. I like watching the birds but leave the feeders and birdbath maintenance to him.
