I am a wits end we've always had a nice green lawn until a dog started using it and killing grass. Does anyone know of anything that would help bring it back? I don't know if there is something that may neutalize it. Any suggetions would Help. Thank You

By using it I presume you mean peeing and pooing Smile Well because a dog's pee and poo is high in nitrogen this is causing a 'burning' effect on your lawn.

One solution when your dog pees is to water the area as soon as possible. This will dilute the concentration and you should see no ill effects from the unexpected dose of nitrogen.

If you dog poos on the lawn then sprinkle some sawdust over the poo and then water the newly formed stinky mound. The sawdust will neutralise the nitrogen effect of the poo and will hide the odour. Over time the sawdust/poo combination will become compost, which of course is wonderful for your lawn.

Thats odd. My puppy poops and pees on my lawn, but I never noticed any browning.

Maybe its because my dog is small and cute.
