What is the best kind of shelving for a large garden hut (10' x 8') that will take the weight of many and various power tools? The last ones I put up have sagged in the middle - they were made out of 1/2" think MDF and supported by brackets at intervals. Now I am going to have to remove them all and find an alternative quickly as I have nowhere else to store the tools Ian and I have.

Thanks.

Eileen,

What kind of shelving are you looking for? I do not have a shelving company, but I do work for a company that specializes in lawn furnishings. I might have some ideas.

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply T. Smile What we're looking for is tiered, free standing shelving, (5 shelves high if poss) no more than 6' high, that are sturdy enough to take all Ian's heavy power tools but don't take use up a lot of the width in the shed. Space is at a premium as we also use it as a potting shed.

Eileen,

I'm sorry, I do not think the shelving my company deals with is what you are looking for. The shelving we do is more decorative, more for indoor than outdoor. You can still check out our website, you might see something else you might like to put in your garden. 'www.cabinfield.com'
Sorry again, I hope you find what you are looking for.

Thanks anyway Tracy. Very Happy I'll nip off and have a look at your website now.

PS Spotted what we were looking for in a B&Q superstore at the week-end. Smile

Eileen,

Wow, that looks great. It does seem like a lot of hard work went into that. Yes, that is definitely different shelving than I was thinking of, by the way did you happen to take a look at my company's website yet. I was just wondering what you thought, it is a new company and any feedback is always helpful. Thanks and congrats on finishing your project Very Happy

Yes I have Tracy. Btw great name - my daughter's middle name is Tracy Very Happy I'm really impressed. I particularlly like your wishing wells and bird feeders. Oh for a bigger garden!!! Sad
My youngest son loves all things wooden so I'm passing your site on to him (hope you don't mind) as I'm sure he'll love it. I've popped it into my favourites so that I can refer back to it whenever I want.
