I know I'm not going to understand women. I'll never understand how you can take boiling hot wax, pour it onto your upper thigh, rip the hair out by the root, and still be afraid of a spider.

We are not all by any means afraid of spiders or snakes for that matter...but how many men will face an enemy but afraid to face a Dr. or a dentist?? and yet women will do both with ease..careful making blanket statements, where many strong women tread...

SusieQ, this is a joke I heard a long time ago on a list of strange opposites so I am sure it wasn't meant as a "fact". So sorry you took offense.
I also happen to love spiders but snakes are another matter.
