The violets are in bloom all over. They come up in all of my beds and spread quickly.

I like violets but here they are a pest plant. I leave them in the grass but dig up thousands that choke out my beds.

They are very pretty, but I made the mistake of putting them in a small garden 2 years ago. Now I am constantly digging up volunteers! And the original clump is enormous!

They are lovely, but they spread to quickly in my garden so I also dig them out as they get out of hand and pile them onto the compost heap.
