From scratch!
1 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. each ground cumin, garlic powder, paprika, powdered oregano and sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Makes 3 tablespoons of seasoning mix, which is equal in strength to a 1/4 ounce package of commercial seasoning mix.
OR
Seasoning Mix
2 teaspoons instant minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon crushed red peppers
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
I like the second one best, we tried that tonight, I omit the spicey stuff because we have a toddler and my hubby is taking Protonix for his tummy. Yet we still can have this kind of stuff if I get creative.
Hope you like these recipes too!

This sounds GREAT! Nothing like wanting to make a Taco Dish and none to be found at the market! In fact, this has happened to me so often lately, I bought a large bottle of seasoning instead of those little bags.

You wouldn't happen to have a Mexican/Spanish Rice recipe would you?
