I have a couple of groups of dwarf irises in my garden. They have finished blooming and have been overrun with dandelions. Would it hurt them if I dug them up now and separated out the weeds from the bulbs and then replanted them in the fall?? Thanks for any advice.

I think if it were me, I would just replant them now after seperating out the weeds.

I would do the same thing as Polly. Then they have all summer to get a good root system going again before the winter.
