I just made this tipsy pots today, I made them with plastic instead of clay pots, the clay ones are heavier but I was afraid they might crack this winter. I want to make another one for the backyard.

Looks good. I have the clay pots to make one but haven't got it done yet. I want to paint my pots first to match the furniture that I am doing for the backyard.

Your tipsy looks great. I use clay pots and do take them in each winter, else they would crack. I just put together one for this year and will get it planted up in the next day or so.

I love my tipsy pots. Yours look great! I have 2 in my garden, one packed with pansies and one with petunias. Now they are growing fast they look great. You can buy them mail order here for £15 sterling......so I guess that is just short of $30!! The hardest thing for me to get was the middle pole. To support the clay pots I needed a metal rod, but these are easy enough to find when you put your mind to it. Lovely!!
