Definately Not a weed, Tina. What you have is Woodruff, sometimes called Sweet Woodruff because of it's fragrance. I have tried to grow it a few times and never had any luck.

Yes I would def. keep this in my garden if I were you. Thos plants are for some reason, insanely hard to grow.

I am indeed very lucky. Never knew this was such a good plant - but it is in a very dark and shaded area mostly hidden under the rhodos.
Thanks so much for identifying it.Any tips on how to take care of these?

It is a nice plant, however, I wouldn't let it spread too far.
