I recently was given a "baby" from an airplane plant, one that is not variegated. I have planted it and it has done well but will not generate any shoots with babies. Does anyone know why? I tried transplanting it and fertilizing it but it still is not putting out any new shoots. Any suggestions???

Thanks

How recently did you plant it? Has it had a chance to establish a root system? I don't think it will send out new shoots until it has an adequate root system established. Dooley

I think Dooley is correct.I have a spider plant and I think thats about the same thing in fact its like 3 plants. They have not put out babies
either its growing but I don't expect it to shoot out babies anytime soon.
