I went out and took more hollyhock pictures this morning. I took a few of other things too. But, here I will put the hollyhocks. Dooley
dr likes the feathery edges on this one.

I forgot the ones by the bridge.

I love hollyhocks and never get enough of them. Your's are very beautiful. My first black one is opening from seeds pianolady kindly sent me last year. Exciting!

Gosh! They're all fantastic, Dooley.
I sure wish I had your magic touch with them,
I can't seem to grow them to save my life Confused

Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing anyone growing them here on the island,
I wonder if the very acidc soil here is not suited to Hollyhocks??
Maybe I'll have to try some seeds in a large planter one day, with sweet soil.
