I finally have pictures of the first of my fairy houses. I used a bamboo placemat from the dollar store for the roof material. I used small rocks, sand, and glass "jewels". For the "windows", I used the large clear glass jewels. I cut pictures of fairies from catelogs and glued them behind the glass so it looked like someone is home. This will be an indoor fairy house because I'm not sure if the glue I used will hold up to the weather. I have learned that the hot glue is not weather proof and I also used gell glue for the rocks. When I get others done, I'll post them. This is my first picture post, so I hope it works.

Any fairy would be proud to call that nifty cottage 'home sweet home'.

Your very first fairy house is beautiful Suelynn. Are you going to make a fairy village like the one Glenda has? I do hope so because then we'll get to see many more of your lovely creations. Very Happy

What a dreamy fairy house! I tried one, but the yellowjackets have booted out the fairies *grrrrr*. Now I'm inspired to try it again! I want to use an incense burner in the chimney, think the smoke will make it look so cozy!
