I will put a bass on it that will go over a short post so I can set it over it to keep it from falling over.I have one other totem. It has been posted in a blog on here.I did not leave my other one in the yard as I wanted to make one more to go out there at the same time.Toni the bass of the new one is a brownish red.with gold outlining plus other colors. It was a lamp I bought for $2.00 at my favorite thrift store.
I do hope by posting more pictures on my comment that I'm not breaking any of the Stew rules. If so let me know
This is a close up of it
This is the other Totem that I made.

Glendann, added pictures are not a problem especially when they are closeups like the one of the red lamp base. That is really a pretty base. I love finding old, pretty (or what some would call garish) lamp bases, they make pretty bird feeder or birdbath bases too.

Those are gorgeous. I want to try to find some little something to go in mine. With Christmas coming I will be looking at some small ornaments at Wal*Mart. I picked up 25 pieces of glass today (all shapes and sizes) at a garage sale and the Salvation Army (they gave me a discount because I bought so many) . Some one needs to take my car keys away, so I will stay home and make some totems. Haven't started one yet
