I've started a blog making use of some of my wildlife photographs and a bit of background info.

I hope it will be of interest to fellow wildlife enthusiasts.

Before my fall which put me out of filming I used to be a freelance wildlife cameraman mainly working for the BBC NHU and had the pleasure of working with Sir David Attenborough.
My most enjoyable project was working on the 'Private Life Of Plants" where we developed time-lapse sequences to speed up time and reveal the fascinating strategies plants use.

Hi there Neil so glad you decided to join GardenStew. Very Happy I've just read your blog entry about cicadas and left a comment. I know we'd all be interested to see any wildlife shots you can share with us. I watched the series 'Private life of Plants' on television and also have the book - are any of the photographs in it yours?

Welcome to GardenStew Neil. I look forward to your blog entries, wildlife is most definitely fascinating. I'd be very interested to hear more about the time-lapse sequences sometime. They always look amazing.

Hi Neil, welcome to the Stew from north Texas. I love watching Sir David Attenborough's programs, plants, birds, etc. Our PBS station broadcasts them frequently.

Just read your blog and posted a comment too. Cicadas come up every summer in Texas, thankfully the 17 yr emergence doesn't happen here or we would be swamped with them this year.
