I hope you can tell what she is as I had to take the picture through the window screen .I hope you can tell she was leaving as I took it.When I went to make coffee she was standing out just past the big pine tree in my back yard.It is the tanish brown spot in the picture.Sorry I couldn't go outside as she was really skidish.

I couldn't see her at first Glenda but after a few few seconds I could make out her shape and the glint of her eye. They are such gentle and graceful creatures aren't they?!!

I can't really make her out, but no matter, it's so cool that you got to see this first thing in the morning! (ps, I love that about this website, that there are so many people who don't immediately reach for a gun in a situation like this- I'm just too much of a soft-heart for that!)

I can't kill anything like that .I'm always threatning dods and cats and bunnies but I couldn't ever do it.
This lady was so fat and graceful walking across there.I do wish the picture had turned out better for you all.

I am sooo envious! I think if I had a doe in my yard it would cause a car accident!

Gosh Glenda you're so lucky that you got to see her.
Hubby told me that he saw two fawns come from the woods lot across the street,
and right down along our fence line through my new nursery area today.
I can't believe that I missed 'em!!
I'm always out in that yard, except when it counts, apparently.
