I found some of these when I was doing a search and thought I'd share...they start out with those little unfinished birdhouses. I don't know how the birds really feel about them, but they are so cute!

Here is a Surf Shack:

and a Sand Castle (I'm going to make this one for my grandparents who live near the beach)

Beehive:

Sunflower:

Asian (imagine this in a Japanese garden?)

A stone fishing lodge:

There were more but these were my favorites...I'm not up to building one myself so this is nice to be able to decorate them.

Michael's had them on sale this week for $3.99 each.

I like the Asian one. Simplistic, but elegant.

Those are soo cute! Mr. Green Thanks for sharing them.
I know your folks will love the sand castle design.
I think the surf shack is my fave.

I think I am going to make my parents the surf shack...they can have it near their pool. My grandparents live in St. Petersburg near the beach, my grandma always took us when we were little. I'm going to make them sand castle one...but I think I might really cover the outside with sand...use glue all over and then dust sand over it...like the sand pictures we made as kids.....

I just got one of these and I've been experimenting. It isn't looking too great so I am thinking of putting a coating of hypertufa all over and then sticking pebbles and sticks on it....kind of like the fairy houses.
