My wife bought a curry comb that is made especially to remove shedding hair from our cat. My son is the only one he will let brush him. Yesterday he brushed him 4 times and the yard looked like one heck of a cat fight had taken place. Cat hair all over the place. If the birds were smart they would be picking it up to line their nests with. That cat pic struck me as something our cat would do to keep brom getting brushed any more!

Deanna, it is a curry comb, similar to what you would use on horses or cattle. It has a handle with a round metal hoop like thingy attached to the handle. It is designed to pull out the secondary coat of cat hair. The round piece is notched on both sides. I think she got it at Pwetco.
