Our neighborhood is over run by stray cats. The house next door is empty so they hang out there. Last night Brian went out to shut the gate to the big yard. Our dog has use of the little yard at night. Brian startled a big white cat. The dog was already out in the big yard for a last run before coming in for the night. Caught between Chance and Brian the cat leaped into the air, landing on the roof. At least 9 to 10 ft at that point.
Brian came inside and Dan was leaving so he walked him out to the driveway. The cat was sitting on the front of the roof and it leaped to the big tree, crossed it on the branches and leaped down to the road and ran off down the street. I didn't know cats could leap that high going up. Down, yes, but up? Dooley

Wouls love to have seen that jump Dooley. A big ginger moggy here can leap up to our hut roof but it's only 7' high.
