hello everyone... been a while since i asked you to be detectives for me.

here is another task... hopefully a simple one.

i planted three kinds of passiflora... i know one of them,... don't know the other two.

NUMBER 1:
light green leaves, not very dark in color, kinda soft to the touch and not shiny. the stem so far tends to get a little purple... same with the "ends" of the leaves near the main stem.

here are some pics:

NUMBER 2:
darker leaves, shiny, toothed.
pictures:

One of them is supposed to me banana passion vine - passiflora mollissima (hope i wrote that properly) and the other one... maybe a white variety of passiflora... or i don't know.

HELP!

calin

I wish I could help you more, I'm clueless on the first one.

Could it be this one?

I've also planted some p. mollissma....it's from seed. Did you grow these from seeds? They look really healthy. Here is a picture of the mollissma that I got from the website where I got my seeds:

I'd guess that the mollissma is #2, based on the leaves in this pic.

hi anna.... yes... that was my guess as well for the mollissima. No 2.

someone told me No 1. was actually papaya... and it makes sense... planted some a long time ago. And they don't develop into a vine. i looked for papaya and i got some very similar pics.

thanks anna Very Happy

You're welcome!
I know the leaves can look kind of different on the different types.

Now if I can get MY mollissima to sprout!
