I would like to build a waterfall drawing water from a lake up to a height of 40ft. Can anyone recommend a good submersible pump that can handle that kind of height and still pump enough water to make the waterfall effective (I am guessing the volume would need to be over 1200GPM).

Thanks.

Hi Robchad,
If you are in Western WA I would look up Horizon or HD Fowler in the Yellow Pages. Check under water features or irrigation. My better half works in the business and this is his recommendation. He says they are knowledgable and will get you what you need. Good luck.
