Fantastic photographs MP - how did you manage to time it so that you got the full burst of each firework?

Sounds so easy when you say it MP - maybe I'll try it at New Year and see how I get on. Usually I end up with a myriad of photographs of dying sparks.

Photos were bigger i did some cropping on Photoshop to get peoples heads out of the shot and there was this shelter top that was in every shot so i had to get that out.
The way i did it was i did it all on Manuel setting. I set my Focus to infinity and i had my Shutter speed set to eather 5 or 3 seconds, and my F-stop set as high as it went.
But its always fun just to experiment on your own thats what i did. if all you get is a few shots thats cool as long as you have fun

Those pics are amazing!
I wanted to try to get some photos of fireworks, but my stupid camera decided not to work last night

Whew, really stunning! What speed film did you use for these? I really gotta dig out my ancient notes from photography class and reteach myself how to move beyond point-and-shoot!
That blue one looks like a digi-painting of a batchelor's button

Great pics. I'll have to try again, most of the time all I ever get is black.
