Here is one of my big hyper-tufa trough planters. This form was made with plywood and screwed together. You can shorten it or make it shallower also. This one is 18x18x53. This is the view from the back.
This is how it looks from the front. It's sitting on top of my stormhouse which is about a foot from my house. That's a big driftwood root on the right.
The door on the right(in the sun)is the stormhouse door. The window on the left is my house. The lattice on the left is a gas tank. The lattice straight ahead has a passion vine on it and planters with pentas in them that spill onto this tiny deck. On the right in the front is some juniper that spills down the small incline the stormhouse is built in.
This is to the right of the stormhouse. Hubby cut some decorative steps out of the ground and I made hypertufa risers for it. It's a very dry area that has lot of sedums in pots. That's my horseskull wearing stained glass "sunglasses."
In the way back is a big driftwood trunk with the sun shining on it.

Can you come live with me Bethie and make me some planters just like yours?!! I realy love it and it looks even better all planted up. How do you manage to keep your garden so neat and tidy - you have to hack through mine with a machete - well almost.

Simply amazing and stupendously awesome Bethie. What is the little green ground cover in the third picture, I think some of that stowed away in a plant package I got from a friend.
