I like the plain variety, but the sparkle of the glass gems beckons me and begs me to glue them on more things....like a hypertufa mushroom.

Well that's one mushroom I wouldn't say no to having a little rest on Smile You becoming a dab hand with the hypertufa HB. Great work.

Very, Very nice.
HB, How are you finding the hypertufa doing in the weather? Do you think it would winter well up north?
You almost have me convinced to try it...

Thanks Frank, TB, and Chitweed!

Chitweed, From what I've read it is supposed to do OK up north. I live in FL so we don't get a big variety in our weather, rarely a freeze. I've kind of made my own mixture just portland cement and vermiculite...it sculpts easily and has a very rocky look. It is almost as easy to work as clay.

Thanks! Very Happy I am trying to do several colors of them and then group them together. I also want to do some with river stones...for earthy mushrooms.

The mushrooms are really really easy! Easier than the containers!

I just made a lion face today...praying it will turn out...the eyes are green "gems". Mr. Green

I like the decorated or undecorated equally I think. The all look beautiful in the landscape. I think everyone should give this stuff a try! Cool
Here in zone 7 there is no problem with weather either.
