As you know I don't get hummingbirds here in Scotland but if I did I think I'd prefer the Perky-Pet Pinch-Waist Glass Feeder as it more closely resembles the types of flowers hummingbirds feed from.

That was what I was thinking.... 
You may not have hummers...but Scotland is beautiful! I dream of going there someday! I think the climate would suit me well!

Which hummingbird feeder did you end up purchasing? I'm glad I found thread because I want to replace the feeders I currently have. They are too hard to clean. I'm going to try the hummzinger. It looks like it is easy to clean and fill.

That Aspects~Humzinger is a very good feeder. They make high quality products.
Homestead has one that I have and like which is similar to the Zinger;
Homestead feeder
The dish type are very easy to clean.
I also like the perky pet basket/planter feeder.
basket feeder
Poke it right in a hanging planter. Also easy to clean.
Bird brain and parasol have some gorgeous feeders but if you live in a wildlife area like me it makes you worry about them getting knocked down and broken.
I'm glad you started this thread too! I own a wild bird feeding/watching shop and its nice to know what people like.

Thanks Wrennie. I love the Homestead feeder. It looks easy to clean. Is the Gold Crest website just for store owners. I signed up and I got an email stating that the registration must be approved.

I don't put out hummingbird feeders, but I do put out suet blocks for any birds that hang around in the winter. Some of those birds include woodpeckers and some other small birds and doves. If I were to get any of these feeders, I sure like Dr. JB's the best because it looks as if it cleans up good. I also like the pretty flowers to pick from.

Ditto... I would choose Dr. JB's. I like the option of designing my own feeder (color wise). I don't have a feeder, because the feeders I have seen in stores look like they would all be so difficult to clean. In the past, ants were a problem, as well as attracting wasps!

I didn't give the jb's a second look because I thought the bottle was plastic. My other feeder is plastic. I tried putting it on the top shelf of my dishwasher. That was a mistake. It melted part of it.
I took a second look after you two said jb's would be your choice. I'm glad I did. It's glass!! I read the reviews and I think I found my new hummingbird feeders.

My hummingbird feeder is a glass one, and its on a metal stick, the kind that you can stick in the garden.
The glass part looks like a flower.

Thanks everyone. I ended up ordering 2 of the JB hummingbird feeder. I received them about a week ago. They are easy to take apart and look well made. I don't think I'll have a problem cleaning them.
I might hang one out now to see if I have any hanging about this season

Let us know how they turn out! My husband wants us to put up a hummingbird feeder this year, and aside from 'easy to wash' I don't have any other ideas on what features to look for.
