Hey everybody. I'm not much of a moth/butterfly/insect person, but I found this really huge Moth today at home (about 3/4th the size of my foot, maybe a bit smaller). I never realized that they could be so big hehe. Anywho here it is (if needed, I have a zoomed in version):

Hi dkgirl, after a bit of searching I think you may have a Polyphemus Moth (Antheraea polyphemus):



Here's what it looks like with its wings fully extended:



The only thing I am unsure about is that in your photo the upper wings seem to me missing a prominent line.
