Going to the pub in Ireland is a great tradition , my own local is a great place to socialise and meet new people. Politics , religion ,cards, horseracing, reading, philosophy, any subject is up for discussion . If anyone wants to know anything or where to get something there is always someone who knows, sort of like a personal internet Im just going down now to get some lovely Ardrahan cheese ,brought up from Co. Cork. The cost ! A lovely pint of Guinness

"a personal Internet" Very funny Bugs.
Oh yes the Irish pub. A great place to relax and have a pint of something to your liking. Over the past years the pub culture in Ireland has been slowly changing. As the prices go up more people are buying drink from off-licenses and drinking at home. Also it is becoming harder and harder to find the traditional Irish pub with live music and the like. Me, I prefer the dingy, non-trendy pubs. So much more character.
Bugs are you saying that the Ardrahan cheese come free with the Guinness?

no Frank , one of the "lads " brought it up from Cork for me I only went down to collect it but got into company ! My own local is a bit like you would like ie non trendy, some music (spontaneous) officially singing is forbidden but what the heck rules are there to be broken!!!! There is always someone trying to start an arguement , sorry I mean a debate (he he) Location is secret unfortunately, If I recommended it ,it would probably become trendy , Bugs
