I just got three (tiny) little Eucalyptus Neglecta - I've potted them up for the moment to let them grow until planting next year, if they survive the whole "bare root" experience.

They're supposed to be able to survive a Pacific NW winter, down to 0 degrees, and I'm hopeful they will as I dearly love eucalyptus. I wondered if any of you have any hardy eucalyptus and if so, how have they done?

I have quite a few Prim at the top of our waterfall. They form an arch over the small feeder pond and have survived our Scottish weather very well indeed. They started off as tiny one foot tall trees and are now around six to eight feet tall (3 -4 years old). Our temperatures can drop to minus ten with wind chill factor added and they come through it all happily.
