Tomorrow is the day Lexxi and I have set to stop smoking! I have thought about it a lot and am actually very excited to face the challenge. Thanks to each of you who have sent me PM's of encouragement.

Lexxi....LET'S BE SUCCESSFUL!! As some advertisements say..

Just Do It

Git er done

Anyone caring to cheer us on feel free... add to my short list and make it longer. I know we will both appreciate any words of encouragement and prayers for strength...Thanks again everyone, as the previous discussion on quitting did make me think and I really believe the combination of everything posted and and consequent realization about myself will make it possible...

Lexxi...Let's Rock and Roll!!!!!!

Yes! We're gonna stick with it. Thank you so much for "gettin er done" with me. I'm so excited to become a non-smoker, and I'm feeling strong! Thanks for helping me take the plunge.

*big hugs* Very Happy

I'll be thinking of you all weekend while camping without cigarettes anywhere in the vicinity. An update will be in order as soon as I return Monday!

Positive thoughts and strength in your direction, friend.

-Lexxi

Woohooo, being partners in quitting is a really good idea.
I had Randy to get testy with during the first 2-3 months but that can be a little tricky when you are testy with your hubby.

Either one of you want to be testy, just PM me anytime.

Ok toni, thanks. I might just have to do that.

I'm with you Lexxi...this will be interesting you camping with no cigs and me starying ome with a full carton at my disposal...hmmmmm. I can do it! So can you!!

Somehow it doesn't seem so stressful if I have them on hand and choose not to smoke them as opposed to not having any.
Dumb huh?

I am very proud of the two of you!! You've made up your minds to do this so you've got the hardest part licked!! One of the things they told me at fat-school was: It didn't happen over night so don't expect it to change over night, one day at a time! I tell myself that a lot! Laughing

Thanks everyone I feel so good about finally wanting to do this. I didn't even stress today when I smoked because my mind is made up for tomorrow.

Congratulations to you both for deciding to quit! It is the BEST thing you will ever do for yourselves! And think of all the cool plants you can buy with all the money you save and how much energy you will have to plant them all!
Best of luck to you. I KNOW you can do it!

What clever girls you are! This is going to be tough but worth it! Don't hesitate to moan and shriek when you feel like it. I'll listen.

A dear friend of mine won that battle, it was so funny the day he went, hey, I can smell those flowers! Went around sniffing all the things he couldn't smell before(and I enjoyed the fact that HE didn't smell!)
