If you use Firefox then there is a useful little plugin you can install to remind you of how well you are doing.

DF, I bet that you will win the prize for most active new thread,
I started taking Chantix about 2 weeks ago. This is a new drug that acts to block the pleasure of smoking. The good news is I "forget" to smoke and can quickly distract myself to something when the desire does occur. The bad news is I am really sick at my stomach in the mornings, at least until after I eat, which is a little difficult.
My Father quit smoking after 40 years by cutting down until he quit. I never thought that he could quit! So I told myself that if he can, I can.
Good Luck,
blogging for some extra distraction,
Debra
