I'm so pleased that my Tricyrtis Hirta has finally decided to bloom from me. I think it looks like some sort of exotic orchid. Very Happy

Here's a piccie I took this afternoon. Plenty more buds to come. Mr. Green

That is beautiful Eileen! I've never seen those before. I'd love to see another shot when more of those buds open.

Mine have decided not to bloom this year, so I'm glad you're sharing yours, Eileen. They are lovely.

Pianolady here is a website with information about which zones you can plant these Toad lilies in as well as other facts you might find useful:

I almost forgot that some of you had asked for more piccies of my toad lilies. The frost last night hasn't been kind to them but here they are anyway.

I got a nice surprise when I took the camera into the garden this morning. I thought that none of my scarlet gladioli were going to flower this year. However, this one has braved the elements and is about to burst into bloom. Rather late in the year as they usually flower in August but the wet weather seems to have held them back.

Gorgeous both! Hope the weather clears so you might enjoy your gladiolus properly.

Wow! What a beauty Smile My thumb is totally 'brown'. Use to have a houseful of plants.Over watered and ended up with gnats and DH didn't like that! Never been one to have much outside. Those that I did have, ended up with 'bugs' eating them. So I gave up Crying or Very sad
Hats off to all of you that are so knowledgeable and talented.
