dr says we have too many bears in our house. But, today 15 more bears moved in and it's all his fault. A lady who was selling at the flea market gave them to him when she was getting ready to go home. She said he could sell them. He said no, they wouldn't like that. They would be coming home with him. That made her happy.
These are the little ones, mostly Boyd's bears.

This big one is a Gund bear made for the May Dept store for the 100th anniversary of teddy bears, 1902-2002. I like it.

I've been trying to get a picture of the big blue scrub jay for days, but my trusty helper keeps chasing it away. So, I took a picture of some yard sale finds that were sitting on the bench by the house. A cermic flower pot that looks like graniteware, a stone cat and four guys in a circle that holds a fat candle.

and finally, dr finished the quilt frame and on Thursday we installed the quilt. I've been getting a feel for it and finished the first row. There are 16 rows left to do. Hopefully before the kid outgrows it.

That's it for today. Maybe tomorrow we will get some more pictures. We are going down the hill to visit some friends in Goodyear. dooley

How cute those bears are! No wonder dr wouldn't sell them but bring them home. Your quilting frame looks very practical. I've never quilted, and admire the patience of those who do.

Dooley I could have sworn you said you had no space for any more bears, however, I wouldn't have been able to resist them either. Very Happy The little white ones are soooo cute and the big one looks as though he'd be really soft to cuddle.

Your quilt is looking fantastic - I've been wondering how it was coming along.

Awww, Very Happy I'll bet there was a big bear party last night,
to welcome all the new arrivals - after you and DR fell asleep.

The quilt is a beauty.

Always room for a few more.I think those bears need a new house next to your home so you can bear all Smile
