Hi all,

I am new here after spending some time on another GJ forum, but I like this one best!!! Mr. Green <p>

Ok,...I have seen almost most imaginable garden art, garden junk things one can create, almost to the point, alot of it is same, ol, same ol...but...I had an idea, after missing the Roswell, NM festival. <Gulp> I thought of creating an alien face on a garden globe, lamp post. Has anyone thought of this? What will my neighbors think LOL?

I like this idea, I think you should go for it MangoMoon. I shouldn't think the neighbours should mind too much unless they have an extra-terrestrial phobia. Or if it's their lamp post Shocked

Welcome to GardenStew, post an introduction here

Neighbors are a nuisance sometimes. Just make your lamp post and don't forget to share it with us.

I just wanted to update you all that my alien lamp post is on the back burner, for goodness knows how long. The reason being that I completely forgot that the solar lamps I ordered for my yard are multi LED lights. I wish I could photograph them at night, as the picture that prompted me to buy them, do not do the lamps any justice. Anyway, with all of the colors that are on the LED, it just won't work, especially since the construction is cheap made in China, plastic stakes and plastic light globe. Anyway, that is my update!

Never mind I'm sure you'll think of something even better shortly. Very Happy Your multi-coloured solar lights sound wonderful. I have a red, green, amber and white floating solar lights in my garden pond and they really look great during the hours of darkness.
